Located in Jefferson County, Sundogs is just a short drive from Washington, DC; Hagerstown, Frederick, and Baltimore, Maryland. Our site is an easily accessible venue for your guests.

Unique and affordable destination weddings

We offer country elegance in a beautiful outdoor setting in the rolling hills of the West Virginia Eastern Panhandle. 

We have the expertise to make your wedding day the most memorable possible. Sundogs is a pet-friendly country inn, so the beloved family pet is truly welcome here as a guest and a member of the wedding party! 

Our venue is large enough to accommodate up to 60 people for an intimate and spectacular setting. All aspects of your special day are taken care of. Facilities are accessible for any guest who requires it. Our forty-five acre country retreat features:

Cascading waters of the Rockymarsh Creek • Wireless internet • Two miles of nature trails • Relaxing adirondack chairs and other sitting areas • Stone patio overlooking the meadow and Rockymarsh Woods • Fire pit • Use of our sitting and dining rooms • Five large and bright guest rooms • Full gourmet breakfast each morning

 

$4750 provides exclusive use of the grounds and house from 3pm on Friday until Noon on Sunday and includes a two night stay for all 5 guest rooms. The luxury of lingering endlessly for the entire weekend is like owning an estate in the country on your wedding day!

A non-refundable deposit of $750 is due when you set your date. This date must be confirmed within 3 weeks with a signed contract and an additional deposit of $2500. The balance is due 1 week prior to your wedding day.

An additional $500 damage deposit will be refunded within 14 days of your departure.

We work with some of the area's best caterers, all of whom can provide everything you need from tents, tables, and lighting, to linens, dinnerware, dance floor, bathroom facilities, food, alcoholic beverages, bartender, wait staff, flowers, wedding cake, DJ, and more.
